Lawrence Bedard offers broad financial planning and management experience gained during a productive career as a financial and wealth management advisor to clients seeking a trusted financial partner. Bedard has weathered turbulent economic and financial markets and leveraged the depth of his knowledge to ensure his clients are positioned for short- and long-term financial prosperity. Bedard’s record of achievement is well-documented; he is respected by his clients and industry professionals alike. Bedard maintains and continues to advance his industry knowledge through self-directed research, as well as through formal training and certification processes. The cornerstone of Bedard’s success is his commitment to maintaining the most relevant industry knowledge to ensure his clients can preserve, protect and grow their wealth.
For more than 25 years, Bedard has been CEO of Capital Growth Corp. Based in New York, NY, Bedard offers his clients a full array of wealth management and retirement income solutions and financial and estate planning services. With his proprietary estate planning strategies, Bedard applies his expertise and understanding of tax codes to meet the goals of high-net-worth clients and corporations. As part of his work, he incorporates financial planning, investment portfolio management and aggregated financial services to provide assistance with the wealth management process. Bedard is accustomed to proactively managing complex financial and investment needs. A strategic partner, Bedard reviews his clients’ financial planning goals on an ongoing basis to offer and direct investments aligned with personal needs and risk tolerance levels. Bedard prides himself on developing relationships built on trust and commitment. He also serves as a senior advisor to a large NYC-based family office.
Bedard’s career includes additional experience as a public accountant for a large CPA firm; treasurer and vice president of several corporations; and a partner at a boutique Wall Street financial services firm. Bedard regularly draws upon his corporate and business experiences to weigh investment risk and provide clients with a strategic approach to portfolio management. He serves as an instructor in connection with CPA tax planning and issues CPA credits nationwide. Bedard is Chairman of the New York chapter of the Asset Protection Society and a member of the International Association of Financial Planners, the National Turnaround Management Association and the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants.
Bedard is a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP), this is the most prestigious retirement planning advisory designation today. He also holds a Certified Wealth Preservation Planner (CWPP) and Certified Asset Protection Planner (CAPP) through the Wealth Preservation Institute. He is a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) and maintains his securities licenses with FINRA; he is affiliated with D.H. Securities LLLP. Bedard is an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) with D.H. Hill Advisers, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). He is also licensed in Life & Health and Property & Casualty Insurance.
Bedard is currently enrolled at American College working toward the completion of his Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) and also studying to complete his Certified Financial Planning (CFP) from the College for Financial Planning. He conferred his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Salem State College.
Personally, Bedard spends time with his three children, and he is an active member of the National AIDS Foundation, a cause he supports to help meet the needs of children born with AIDS.
